hi Reagan,
The SUM tool should unlock the system after the downtime phase which is at the end of the "Execution" phase
SUM Tool did not unlock the system after Downtime(new name is Execution) phase. As I said that I selected the Option (Cleanup and start afresh) and when I try to proceed then I got following message
Unable to execute the request ABAP operation post-execute on hostname instance 00 Post-Uptime execution of the ABAP upgrade request ABAP has failed Error from unit observer Cannot execute unit post-execute, current unit is extract
Were there any errors which you bypassed before you reached this phase ?
No error Just received above message.
What happens when you select "Continue" and move further ?
I received the Failed status when i start the \SUM>STARTUP.BAT mean now I am not getting the window for selection(Continue)
Login to the system with DDIC user and check the patch level of all the components.
all components are upgraded
If you are unable to continue further with the upgrade tool then unlock the system using the TP command from the OS level and then try.
Is ther any issue If I unlock the system via TP commands because PostProcessing Is still pending.
If the upgrade is not done well and if there is an inconsistency the prepare for a restore of the system and revert back to the old kernel and start the upgrade from scratch.
I checked the Tx with DDIC user which are working fine.
Regards,
